The Wheat Pool, the band and families, are very happy to pull the curtains back on this thing we’ve been working so hard on for the past few months, and to give you the first glimpse.

Two years in the making, ‘Hauntario’ is the sophmore effort for the band, scheduled for release October 6/09.

Hauntario is eleven brand new tracks written by the band over the past couple of years while the band has toured around promoting ‘Township’. It represents a noticeable evolution in song-writing, moving past the alt-country jams into a more in-your-face, indie-rock-roots style, while retaining the depth and diversity of the band. But we will hold back on describing it for now. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say.
