Well its about time. Thats what everyone seems to be saying. And we’re not exaggerating. Festival producers, promoters, friends, fans, the drummer. Everyone just wants to hear new tunes.

So here is a little of both kinds.

First – new song. “One Of These Nights” is the working title to a song we are recording for the upcoming album. We start tracking May 11. This is one of Robb’s songs we demo’d for our various grant applications. Looking forward to filling it out. Perhaps you’ve heard us open the new live shows with it.

Second – old song done new. We recorded “Geographic” on air for 90.3fm in Calgary (FUEL) back in April. They were great to us and do a lot to play and promote localish music. This an acoustic version without Steph. The drummer gets the beats today. We’ve made this one downloadable if you like it.

Hope you like it. Over the next two months we’ll post a number of demo versions of new tracks for the new record. Just so you know what we’re up to.

If you didn’t know already, the new record is slated for the beginning of October 2009. Can’t wait to bring the new songs to your town.
